The process flow of copper ore processing usually includes the following main steps:

1. Mining and transportation: First, copper ore is mined from the copper mine and transported to the processing plant.

2. Crushing: After the copper ore arrives at the processing plant, it is first crushed to break the large pieces of ore into smaller particles. This step usually includes coarse crushing, medium crushing and fine crushing to reduce the particle size of the ore for subsequent processing.

3. Grinding: The crushed ore needs to be further ground to reach a particle size suitable for flotation. Grinding operations are usually carried out in a ball mill or a rod mill.

4. Flotation: Flotation is one of the most important steps in copper ore processing. It uses the differences in physical and chemical properties between copper minerals and gangue minerals to achieve the flotation of copper minerals by adding flotation agents (such as collectors, frothers and regulators). Copper concentrate can be obtained after flotation.

5. Concentration and filtration: The copper concentrate after flotation contains a lot of water, which needs to be removed by concentration and filtration to obtain copper concentrate with a lower moisture content.

6. Smelting: Copper can be extracted from copper concentrate after smelting. The smelting process usually includes sintering, smelting and blowing, and finally crude copper is obtained.

7. Refining: Crude copper contains a variety of impurities, and refining is needed to improve the purity of copper. The main refining methods are electrolytic refining and fire refining.

8. Casting and molding: The refined pure copper can be cast into copper ingots, or processed into various copper products through various molding processes (such as rolling, drawing, etc.).

During the entire copper ore processing process, attention should also be paid to environmental protection and comprehensive resource utilization to ensure the sustainability and environmental friendliness of the processing process.
